The Environmental Model Committee (EMC)
The Environmental Model Committee (EMC) is a standing College committee responsible for developing programs and policies that integrate environmental sustainability into all aspects of campus life, with the intention of transforming the campus into a successful environmental model that students can take with them and emulate in their lives and careers after Connecticut College.
The committee is made up of students, faculty and staff who serve terms as appointed EMC representatives. Meetings are held monthly during the academic year (except in January due to winter break) and are open to the College community. Students are especially encouraged to participate.
